Brandon Johns from The Grange Kitchen and Bar in the kitchen!

Thanks to Chef Brandon Johns and his great crew for bringing us an amazing breakfast once more. Brandon knows how to fill a plate full of belly and heart warming food. This week it was two wonderful specials: Spicy fall Veggie tagine with fried egg and greens, served with a side of Biercamp sausage, and ”Fox River Breakfast” consisting of Michigan farm raised sauteed trout, duck confit hash, and a fried egg.

Thanks to all our volunteers who came out Thursday evening to get everything prepped, the Friday morning crew who came to serve the crowd of nearly 200 people who enjoyed the fabulousness, and, a special shout out to the clean up crew who take care of the mess.

Remember, this Saturday, Nov. 17th is the first Evening of Local Music at Selma Cafe. Featuring an awesome line up, tickets and more information can be found at Brown Paper Tickets. Take a look HERE, and come by and support Selma Cafe becoming our own 501c3 and have a great evening of music with friends. BYO drinks, we’ll provide glasses, ice and snacks.

Until next time, stay cozy and enjoy the late autumn harvests. Looking forward to seeing you in my kitchen soon,

~Lisa
